The man struggled forward, blade in hand, and mind ablaze. He had seen so much trouble so much strife. So many people ha had known were dead. Yet the images kept coming. He had to get out. There was too much to be done, too much to be righted in the world. Suddenly though he was sucked up into another event. He had to get out...

The woman helped the man up after the last memory, helping to support him. IT was imperitave that they reach the edges of the halls so that they could avoid the worst of it. But even she had no idea when the worst would come, or even when. But she knew that it wouldn't and even couldn't be far now. All the signs pointed to the fact that their time in this place would be coming to an end. All the signs. she repeated to herself.

The Man and Woman would find themselves on a plateau behind a rather large figure. A cloak shrouded most of the being, but the wind caused it to flap madly and expose a dark blue metal of some sort. The being gazed calmly over the edge of the plateau, a huge city burning and deteriorating in front of their very eyes. A large ebony blade was jammed into the rock near the being.
"You've finally arrived...Good..."
The cold tenner voice floated away from the being. It held a hollow mechanical reverb to it as "he" continued his surveying of the unfolding mindless destruction.
"I see you've also brought one of the shards along...That's good. I'll be relieving you of that now. Failure to comply will result in unnecessary painful and lethal consequences."

The pair stiffened a little, as they turned to face the thing demanding the Swords they carried. "I don't think so." said the woman.
"So you have finally come, eh?" asked the man. "I knew we would run into something like you eventually, floating through the time scheme. But I had hoped that I would have-" here he winced slightly, and clutched at his side, grimacing slightly. "But I am ready to face you none the less. Here he pushed away from the woman, and despite her protests stretched out his right hand in front of him. Almost instantly a bolt of lightening came and struck his hand. However, when less than a second later, the blinding flash was gone the mans hand was not gone, as should have happened,. Instead there was a sword in his hand. The hilt looked to be made of a glass like fogy metal, wrapped in some sort of black cloth. atop the hilt there was a blue gem which looked to be suspended above the hilt by some sort of force. The blade appeared to be composed of many fragments of the same sort of cloudy metal as the sword, the blade however, floating above the sphere looked to be constantly changing form, as though unsure of the form it was to take.
"Behold, Ex-Caliber." Said the man. "The blade of Blinding speed." And with that he was gone, almost as though he had stepped from one reality to another.
Then just as suddenly as he had disapeared, he reapeared, around ten feet from the robot, but behind him. He quickly covered that distance though, and attempted to swing at his foe's head, the shimmering blade whirling speedily towards his head. The woman looked troubled though. She had seen him step. She was sure the Seeker had as well... And she was worried.

As the man ran upon the unnamed antagonist, he would find his attempt to dispatch the foe would go fruitless. Fire erupted from the back of the cloak, as well as a strong force of wind which would probably offset, if not burn, the man. The being turned to face where he'd wind up, revealing his true figure and visage as he removed the charred remains of the cloak with a whirring arm. A golden visor glowed dimly as he reached for the zweihander, unearthing it and readying it to fight.
"...You're wounded...aren't you?...This raises my probability of success by a fair amount. This is your last warning. Set down the sword, or face dire consequences."
The thrusters in his back erupted into a roaring life again, dust kicking up as his seven foot figure rose to a casual hover just inches from the ground. It was then that the mechanical foe revealed an extremely different personality trait than most of his automaton kin.
"On second thought, I'd rather dispatch you..."
With a deafening roar, the metal being rushed in at the man, zweihander outstretched for a slash before forcing a swing so hard, he spun like a fiery top toward his target.

"You mock me" Growled the man. The wind had pushed back the hood of the cloak he had been wearing. He looked to be a middle aged graying man.
The flaming cloak had managed to singe his arms slightly, but there was a way to deal with that. Swinging the blade out just so, the shards suddenly conformed to his arm, effectively making his sword arm a kind of sword unto itself. This he brought to bear on the spinning insanity that his opponent had become. He was only going to be able to keep this up for a minute or two, but if he could just hold on for a little longer then he knew he could... Suddenly his side flared with pain, and he fell to the ground. This was the end of it. If he had not been injured he would have survived far longer, but as it was, there was always his backup plan. The pain flared again, to a white hot intensity this time, and the man fell to the ground.

"For good reason, evidently..."
The unnamed foe retorted as he landed near the fallen opponent. Casually, he reached down and relieved him of his sword, Ex-Calibur. He tossed his Zweihander aside, watching as the sword morphed and assumed a shape and size similar to his original weapon. At that given moment, there was a flash and crackle of lightning and the entire fabrics of space and time fluttered for a moment. Looking back down, he saw the man still holding the sword he had just taken...Strange how time worked. It wouldn't be much longer before he'd be separated from the two. He might as well have some fun with the last comrade, right? Suddenly with blinding speed, the machine drove Ex-calibur through the man's skull with a sickening splatter of blood, brains and skull.
"My name is Night...if you ever run across me again..."
He watched as the man's body crackled and suddenly disappeared, moving to another part of time where he was still among the land of the living.
"You probably should go after him...I doubt the higher powers would leave him with his skull splattered, but his other wounds seemed grievous..."
He let out a hollow chuckle as he floated up into the air again, adjusting the sword with a single hand casually.
"...However, if you wish to try and get some sort of vindication...Well, you won't find it...I'll just disappear by the end of all this too, but we could have some fun while we enjoy the end of this world."

Zack was suddenly hurled out of a black portal and hit a wall which knocked him into a daze. When he got out of the daze he saw some robot and a woman standin in the distance he was to far to make out any details but the one thing he could tell was that he neede to get out of this place. He looked around and wondered exactly what was this place but no time for looking around he open a portal and tried to step into it but was pushed back and fell to the ground "What the heck was that!" he yelled as he sat up.

The Woman payed no attention to the new comer, instead focusing on the murderous robot.
"So you think to defeat me do you?" She asked carefully, betraying no outward emotions. "Even if you were aware of all of that swords abilities, you wouldn't come close to matching my prowress in battle."
With a quick flick of her wrist, the woman pulled a sword out of thin air. It was a rather plain sword. Neither unique or interesting. The hilt was wrapped in a boring offwhite cloth and there was no guard. "Yet, it seems that perhaps you need a lesson in versitility here she flipped her wrist expertly again and the sword was gone. In its place was a Bow. This bow, however looked decidely plain as well, with an exception or two. The first was that it had changed to become the shimmering metal that Ex-Caliber was made of, but looked purer, more real. The handle of the bow had two orbs that glowed with a pinkish hue before finishing the bow out to the notches where a string should have been. The orbs floated alongside the bow, much like Ex-Caliber. However, the bow had no string either. Where a string should have been attached at either end of the bow, little points, the same color as the orbs lingered.
"Halgaedra." She said simply, and then she plucked an arrow out of the air that had not been there before and fitted it to the non-existant string. "Prepare to die." she said, then she let go of the arrow which had been drawn up by her face as though shot by an expert archer. Midflight the arrow transformed into a bolt of energy, headed straight at the Robot.

Night wasn't too concerned with the newcomer either. In all honesty, it was natural that the space time continuum replace the loss of the first man with this one. He watched as the sword shifted to a bow and watched it come toward him calmly. Before the beam of light would connect and so destroy Night, it connected against a once-invisible field with ferocious force.
"Did you really think that you'd do away with me so easily?"
Additional boosters slid forth from his shoulders and lower back, engaging and sending him rocketing toward the woman at incredible speed, sword ready to strike. Right before he hit however, he suddenly disappeared as he utilized Ex-Calibur's speed capability. It was the perfect blade for Night...He was not human like the original wielder, so such speeds took little to no toll on his body. He appeared behind her, his back still ablaze with thrusters as he thrusted Ex-Calibur's newly shaped blade at her back. He knew this wouldn't do her in, but he needed her to fight at her full potential. If she didn't, the combat data he was collecting would be skewed...

Suddenly the guardless sword was back, and the hand that was holding it was calmly placed behind her back, blocking Ex-Caliber. "You can't beat a creature of magic and time with speed" she said, as though it were obvious. suddenly she disapeared and reapeared opposite of Night, this time with a machine gun in her hand that looked remarkably similar to the bow. "And your sword hasn't even unlocked its true potential yet.." Here she twirled her wrist several times, flipping the 'sword' into many different forms, some new some seen already. "You can't begin to understand what you face." She grinned.

Unbeknown to the female, Night was recording and documenting every little action she showed. This was the mechanical way of things after all. His head tilted and the visor glowed ominously before he spoke up again.
"Show me."
He calmly stated as he computed his next action for a split second...Perfect.
"You might be a creature of time and space..."
The voice trailed off before he rocketed toward the newcomer with the blade outstretched, suddenly forcing the speed to manipulate himself into three different images as he blurred toward him. The words that would hopefully come into her head to finish the open statement were "but he's not..." What would she do? Allow the 'innocent' man to be dispatched to another dimension or time, if not killed? Or would she intervene and make an attempt to save the day?!

Suddenly, however, Zack was gone, whisked away by the folds of time as another section of the world fell away.
"You could have picked a better hostage." she said calmly. "That man Is destined to die soon anyway. But not by your hand." Then suddenly she was across from Night again, this time carrying the no-guard sword again. "We will fight until I have destroyed you, monster." Here she lunged and attempted to remove his head, almost matching Ex-Caliber's speed.
