Zack kept running until he saw a clearing and started to head toward it. When he exited it he saw crumbled builds with moss and viens growing on them " What is this place? Zack asked outlound

Xar Entered not but a few paces behind, careful to stay hidden. He knew his adversary would reveal themselves within moments; the reason they had used magic being right in front of him, Xar was fairly certain. Suddenly, and it happened very fast indeed, there was a green bubble around the area he had just been looking about, a few inches from his face. Frowning he reached up and touched it. It didn't give in the slightest. Something was going on here.

Within the bubble, the Herald in Green Offered her hand to Zack. She looked slightly different than she had previously. A little more haggard perhaps. And she was holding an ornate wooden sword, in which there was a shard of glass which changed colors when it moved.
You must choose she said in his head, voice ass etheral as ever, but more insistant as well. You either become a Bearer and take on the responsibilities of the Shard of the Forgoten, or you face Xar. It is your choice. Once he breaks this bubble I will be gone with or without your help. She looked expectantly at him, waiting for an answer.

Suddenly, Xar had an idea. Resheathing Darkhammer, he placed his hand firmly on the orb and called the Necros' [pwer to bear. Slowly at first, but then very quickly, veins of black evil looking energy began to seep across the sphere, changing its color. It would not be long now.

" I'll become the bearer so that I can protect the present and the future from this guy." Zack said to the women he then reached out and grabbed the womens hand.

Suddenly the bubble buret, shattering into a million fragments, the green turned a solid grey. But the pair who had been inside had disapeared, already gone before Xar's spell could take proper effect.
