We've decided, due to various things, including input from current members, as well as past experiences on the site, to drop having a "class" system all together. Your characters will be what you make of them. Nothing more, nothing less. You are restricted to the typical no god characters, and your character can't be super powered, or anything like that.
Think of it this way; Would you feel underpowered facing your character in battle? If so you should probably tone it down a little.
The profiles will be graded accordingly, so if a Staff member asks you to change something, please do.
So, here is the brief description of what should go into your profile;
Name:
Fairly self explanatory, this is what your birth name is.
Alias:
What you prefer to be called.
Age:
Your characters age.
Sex:
Your characters sex (male/female)
Race:
Your race as defined by the race thread. Look around here and you'll find it.
Appearance:
What you look like. This is a very involved portion of your character. Feel free to add weapon description or important items, as well as just general details concerning the person you are playing. The people you're RPing with need to feel like they can see this character as well as you do in your mind! Please include at least two paragraphs here, with 5 meaningful sentences apiece. More is also appreciated, and you can include a picture, if you wish.
Personality:
This is what your character acts like, what certain things might provoke them to do. This is fleshing out your character, explaining what they act like. This also needs to be 2 paragraphs, each with fully meaningful sentence structure.
Personal History:
Describe the events your character went through during their lives to get to where they are now. Please be descriptive! We want to see characters with cool and unique backgrounds. 2 paragraphs minimum, each paragraph containing at least 5 sentences, please.
Power Description:
Please use this place to discuss any significant powers you might have. These are the real meat of what your character can do, and as such should be fairly detailed. Please have at least a paragraph and a half of what the powers you are capable of using are, and how you use them, ect. This would be any magical abilities, super strength, that kind of thing. Once again, this is the place where you should use your best judgement; If you wouldn't want to be hit by a move, because you think it would be unfair, then it's probably best not to include that kind of ability, ect. A bulleted list would be fine here, but you still need the same quality of information.
Face Claim:
If your character is from a series/movie or whatever, please say so here! We don't mind you using characters from other series, but please say what series and what character, so we don't get any overlap!
