A List of General Rules for Conduct on the Seven Blades RP.
IMPORTANT SUGGESTIONS
These Rules are important, but in some cases will be over looked... However, Multiple instances of poor following of these suggestions will be followed by consequences.
Consequences:
I don't want to have to have these, but never the less, this is what will happen should you overstep your bounds:
Step 1 Pretty standard; You'll get a PM from a Staff member asking for a cease and Desist. That's all.
Step 2 Your second Step on our little disciplinary trip will earn you another PM, and an Email, Plus a small Ban of about a day.
Step 3 You'll get another Email/PM and a longer ban, probably lasting something like a week.
Step 4 You'll end up with a Month Long ban and the standard Email/PM. 25 posts will also be deducted from your account.
Step 5 And finally, you'll get a Perma-Ban.
All of these steps earn you a little warning level.
Keep in mind, these rules and consequences are at the discretion of staff, so any punishment can be applied to any 'crime'. Hopefully though we'll never have to use any of these measures.
1- The Golden Rule
Do unto others folks. Don't be too negative and don't bait people. Please keep language to the minimum
2- Mature Content
None of that, now. This is a HIGH fantasy setting, meaning stuff like Tolkien. Keep it PG-13.
3- God-Moding
This one is perhaps the most important rule, as far as RPing goes. This one is Cardinal in my book, and while it is Number 3, it is still very important. You will loose fights sometimes; In fact the whole forum is DESIGNED so that you will. Just deal with it.
4- No Flaming:
Fairly obvious. Don't spam people and the like. This one's pretty serious too.
5- No Bumping Dead Ones
Also fairly obvious. If a topic's been dead for a while, specially in an RP sense it's more than likely that the inhabitants of said thread DON'T want help.
6- No Trolling
This one simply means Don't be malicious and do things like try to undermine the Rules, or be cruel to other Rp'ers or the like. Fairly simplistic.
7- No Spamming
Don't do things like make threads just to advertise for your site and never come back, and don't thread jack people who are trying to RP, just to do something. Don't post advertisements where they don't need to be either. There's a board for that, after all.
8- Only One Character per Account
This one's pretty important as well, since there may at some point be things that rely on post count. If You attempt to make more than one character, Your new one just won't be accepted. Mhmm.
9- No more than 3 threads!
The maximum number of threads you can be in at one time with a single character is 3. Don't go over this limit.
10-24 Hour Limit
If someone hasn't posted within 24 hours of their "turn" as it were, feel free to skip them and move on the next post, using a plot contrivance or somesuch in order to explain their lack of movement, ect.
11- ALL OF THESE
Are subject to change; Just use common sense and you should be fine. Don't go doing something you think Miiight be against the rules, just because you can. If you have a question feel free to ask one of our staff about it.

IMPORTANT SUGGESTIONS
These Rules are important, but in some cases will be over looked... However, Multiple instances of poor following of these suggestions will be followed by consequences.
1- Don't Double Post This doesn't go for threads where you're by yourself, or something like that, but if you really need to put something out there, just modify your original post as a rule of thumb.
2- Grammar/Post Length Please, please use good grammar. Please. Please. Nothing is as irksome as trying to read through poor grammar to understand what a post is trying to say.
Also, please keep posts fairly lengthy. Books aren't required for every post, but if you only have a short sentence or two to spout, it might be better just to save it.
