The Man with Red Hair and black robes, who had once possessed the appearance of a clown, arrived at the doors and pushed them open rather apprehensively. It had been a long time since he had been here. But he was in need of information now, and He knew that the only way he was going to get it was to go inside. But he had no idea what lirked Below. Frowning, he stepped through, and decended the set of steps that led into the bowels of the compound.

[Ashador]

Jaffar was right it didn't take that long to get to the Peaks (( it only takes like two minutes when your typing)) They had been searching the peaks for quite some time when they stumbled across a mountain that had doors on it. " this must be the place" said jaffar " the hermit said this was some sort of ancient library, so maybe we can find out some info on these Heralds." they walked inside and began to search for anything useful

[Jagues]

The girl lifited the hatch and found herself in some sort of libaray she heard voices so she quickly shut the hatch and hid herself.

[Ashador]

The group had split up and had started searching and Jaffar had moved deep into the ancient bowels of the library.((oddly enough most of the books seemed to be about the digestive system of animals )) he suddenly heard what sounded like a shuffling of feet near by he quickly took cover by a bookshelf near the noise and peered around it. It was the Herald he was walking further into the recesses of the massive building. so he decided he would tail him for a while and try to find out what he could about this enigma.

[Allule]

The Herald walked the Floors of the Ancient libary, looking for two things imparticular. The First he thought he could find rather easily. The second would be rather harder to find. Frowning, he turned down the alley left of him and walked a few paces until he came to be directly in front of the Great Stone that lay in the direct center of the Floor. It looked technologically superior to everything that the Herald had ever seen, but that was becasue it was. The Herald had never expected to have to use it so soon though. Frowning he walked ove to the side and re-read the inscription. "Great Power to the seven." he muttered under his breath. The great mass of stone seemed to tremble a little, but other than that nothing happened.

[Ashador]

Jaffar watched as the Herald made his incantation. he saw the rock tremble a little bit but nothing else seemed to happen he figured he would tail the clown for a little while longer. then he would confront him to try and get some answerers.

[Allule]

The Herald walked around the stone once. And then again. And then a third time. It seemed strange that It would be this easy to obtain what he had been seeking. But never the less, It wouldnt hurt to try. Heart beating fast, The Herald stopped right in front of the towering stone and said softly " I am the Herald, carrier of The Nameless shard. Stone of Blood Grant me your power, that I may defeat the one who Killed one of our number." here he trailed off.. He really had no idea why or even how Als had been killed, for he was fairly certain that it had been her that had died.

Then, without warning, a great black Gem rose to the surface of the grey stone, as a floating sphere might to water, directly at the Heralds Eye level. Then, he knew what he had to do. Putting his hand foward, his arm was envoloped in flame for a moment or so and then he pulled it back. In his hand now was a double bladed sword, with no gaurd. The metal was pure red. "The Nameless..." He said softly to himself. Then without pretext, he took the sword and shoved it into the gem with both hands. The gem absorbed the sword, and then some, taking about half of his arms in with it. Suddenly the gem glowed with darkness, a darkness so black the Herald was certain no one would have been able to see anything with in it. When the Darkness faded, the Herald had two gauntlets attached to his arms, both with a blade about the length of his arm protruding from the front, like a stake. The Gauntlets were orange and white. The heralds clothing had changed to, morphing from black to the same orange and white colors the weapons were. A full suit of armor. Wondering a little at the change, the Herald extended his left hand expeirimentaly and flexed his hand. The spike on the glove launched itself into the book shelf in front of him with enough force to send the herald back a pace or two.

Frowning he turned to face the man who had been following him. He didn't know how he knew where he was, or how the man had gotten there, but the herald knew. "You! Proclaim yourself! I am Flare, the bearer of The Nameless. Waht do you seek?"

((Didnt see that one coming did you ))

[Jagues]

Soma saw the hearld attain one of the seven swords she pulled her brown cloak off and charged the hearld " You will give that sword so I can Give it to my leader Jagues!" demanded Soma as she charged toward him. She chanted a few words and her fists lit up with fire and then she punched the hearld.

[Allule]

Or at least she tried to punch Flare. What actually happened was quite different. Soma only got to within five feet and then the flame went out. And by the time her fist attepted to contact the herald, he had blocked it with the blade of one of his gauntlets. "I'm afraid," he said, not looking at her " That I couldn't do that even if I wanted to; this sword is tied to me, much as your heart is tied to you. Even more so now that It has been elevated to its second state."

[Ashador]

" Stay out of this girly" said Jaffar " He's taking to me. You know," he began to talk to the herald "For the longest time i thought the King wanted me to bring YOU in. Seems kind of obvious now that he really wanted this power. So tell me this what's going on that this kind of terrible power has begun to surface hum?

[Jagues]

" I dont care about your question are what you want but back off!" yelled Soma she said another chant then pointed at the one who just talked to her and hit the ground with her fists and yelled "FIRE PILLAR" huge pillars of fire shot out of the ground attacking the two stragners and the Hearld at the same time with more coming out of the ground.

[Allule]

Flare dispelled the pillars with relative ease, glaring only slightly at the girl, and admonishing her with a "You know books can burn..." before turning to the man who had been following him and saying
"You're wrong about that..." said the Herald absently mindedly staring into the distance, towards another book shelf. "The king himself has always known that his sword could be unlocked as well. In fact, I am almost positive that he is searching for the means to upgrade it further before coming here to obtain the Fel Form. These things do have their downfalls as well, you know." Where would that book be? he wondered to himself

[Ashador]

Once the girl attacked Jaffar ran toward the herald. he stopped next to him and handed the herald one of his daggers. " here take this" said Jaffar. As the herald took the blade from his hand time began to slowdown around them. " we only have a short amount of time for me to maintain this. These daggers have the power to speed something up so fast it moves near the speed of light slowing down the rest of the world. This is very taxing on my strength however so i'll make this quick. Since i'm am still employed by the king to bring you to him i have to keep you safe. i'll keep the little lady occupied. you keep that dagger and look for whatever it is you need in this library. If you do find it bring that back to me. got it?" and without waiting for an answer Jaffar slowed himself back to normal speed and got ready to fight the young girl.

[Jagues]

" Oh so your going to take me on fine then." Soma said " Just to let you know I am second in command of the Gray Guardians so prepare your self." She then punched the ground again and a wave of fire went at the stranger she then created an illusion of her self from heating the air. The illusion then went left then she went right doing a pincer attack on the man.

[Ashador]

Hmm. thought Jaffar to himself. i may be down a dagger but this shouldn't be to much trouble. beisdes this is causing enough of a racket to bring zeph and Kyo as back up. Jaffar then split off three afterimages one headed toward each attacker and the pillar. The first image attacked the pillar and jumped up slicing through it and disspelling it. The second one attacked the one on the left which slashed it proving it to be the dummy. the third image however was disspelled by the real girl. "Hmm wasn't all that hard to find you" said Jaffar aloud.
